Hello, dear friends of blogosphere!
Bei euch werde ich so wie ich Zeit habe zu Besuch kommen und wenn mir etwas wichtig, interessant oder sinnvoll erscheint auch einen Kommentar – vielleicht auch mal eine eMail – schreiben. Meine Lieblingsblogs werde ich auf jeden Fall weiterhin lesen. Aber das wird dann vom aktuellen Tag bis zu dem letzten mir bekannten Posting sein und dann mal gucken, ob ich etwas schreibe oder nicht. Also dann, mal sehen, wie sich alles entwickelt, wie das Leben so spielt, welche von euch im Winter noch bloggen und welche mir als Lesenden erhalten bleiben. Ich freue mich natürlich immer über euer Interesse und Besuche…

Ich war ein paar Tage nicht hier,
weil ich am Wochenende viel unterwegs war.
I was a few days not here because I was traveling a lot at the weekend
Die Sonne meinte es gut mit Berlin und ich hatte viel zu tun.
The sun smiled on Berlin and I had a lot to do.
Am Samstag war ich im Bikini Haus.
On Saturday I was in the „Bikini-House“.
Das Bikini-Haus steht im Berliner Bezirksteil Charlottenburg,
Budapester Str, am Zoo.
The address of „Bikini-House“ Budapester Street,
near the zoo, in the Berlin district „Charlottenburg“
Der Name Bikini resultiert aus einem Luftgeschoss in der Mitte
des Hauses, also einer Etage ohne Fenster/ Wände
The name „Bikini-House“ results, because one floor in the middle of the building war without windows/walls (airfloor).
Die letzten vier Jahre war das Bikinihaus eine Baustelle.
The last four years has been the Bikinihaus a construction site
Das 1955 bis 1957 errichtete Gebäude, steht unter Denkmalschutz,
und wurde umfassend saniert.
The 1955 to 1957 built house, is a listed building,
and been extensively redeveloped.
Das ehemalige Geschäfts- und Bürogebäude ist nun ein Einkaufszentrum
The former commercial and office building is now a shopping center
Wir hatten ja in Berlin erst 67 Shopping-Center. *lach*
We had in Berlin just/ only 67 Shopping Center. *lol*
Aber das „Bikini Berlin“ will ganz anders sein
als die bisherigen Konsumtempel.
But the „Bikini Berlin“ will be quite different
from the previous malls.
Also nehme ich es mir einfach mal unter die Lupe.
Ok, so I take it under the microscope. *lol*
Die Neu-Eröffnung war termingerecht am Donnerstag.
The re-opening was on schedule on Thursday.
Aber leider war das Center am Samstag noch gar nicht fertig.
But unfortunately, the Centre on Saturday was not even finished.
Die Schaukästen sind noch leer, das Café noch geschlossen,
einige Ladenflächen noch nicht bezogen.
The display cases are still empty, the Café is still closed,
some shop space not yet occupied.
Trotzdem voll kuuhl hier.
Nevertheless very cool here.
Kuh = cow –> kuuhl = cool That’s a german joke with the words.
Neu sind Holzboxen in denen sich sog „Pop-up-Stores“ befinden.
A novelty, these wooden boxes with shops, called „Pop-up-Stores“
Die Mietverträge für die Boxen sind nur für kurze Zeit.
The leases for the boxes are only for a short time.
So soll das Shopping zu einem abwechslungsreichen
und individuelleren Erlebnis werden.
So, the shopping is to become a diversified
and individualized adventure.
Eine weitere Neuerung ist der Blick in den Zoo.
An other novelty is a view on the zoo.
Von der Terrasse, von einem Café und aus dem Hotel heraus
lassen sich mehrere Gehege einsehen.

you can see several enclosures.
Zwei Fotos vom Gehege der Nutrias, auch bekannt als Biberratte, Sumpfbiber, Schweifbiber, Schweifratte oder Wasserratte).

Auf den Fotos darunter sind die Gehege verschiedener Affen.

Auch Elefanten sind von oben zu sehen.
Also elephants can be seen from above.
Ich erfreue mich 2014 an einer Jahreskarte für den Zoo und daher war logisch, im Anschluss an die Bikini-Besichtigung noch ein kurzer Besuche des Zoologischen Gartens erfolgte.
In the year 2014 i enjoy an annual ticket for the zoo and therefore, it was logical after the „Bikini-House“ to visit the zoo.
Hier stehe ich nun auf der anderen Seite.

In dem Gehege vor mir sind Mantelpaviane.
In the enclosure in front of me are Hamadryas baboons

Bezirk(steil) Friedrichshain gefunden.

Dieses Wohnhaus sieht immer noch aus, wie zu DDR-Zeiten.

Heute möchte ich euch wieder einen Sitzplatz anbieten.

Vor allem die Sitzbänke sind mir sofort ins Auge gefallen.
Especially the benches immediately attracted my eye.
Dieser Kasten unter der Sitzbank wirkt etwas nostalgisch auf mich.

Ich denke, das passt gut zu dieser kultigen Bar
I think this fits well with this cult bar.
Mir gefallen auf die sehr hohen Tische.
